This trek leads over a ridge inside the Langtang National Parks with lakes (Panch Pokhari Means "five lakes") and good mountain views. Then you walk through a remote area in Helambu, passing small Tamang villages. There are different routes to return, including a Trail to the Tibetan border in the east. Helambu is a lush region to the North of Kathmandu inhabited by Sherpas and Tamang people. It passes through some beautiful forests and very interesting villages on route where many of the customs practiced centuries ago are still in evidence today.The trek finishes in Sunderijial an hours drive from our hotel in Kathmandu.
